Dandelion Recipes
400 years ago, there were no dandelions in America. Some of the earliest European visitors brought dandelion plants and seeds with them, and cultivated dandelions for food and medicine. Native Americans who were unfamiliar with these new plants quickly discovered the healthy benefits. How different that is from today, when so much energy and money are spent trying to get rid of dandelions!
Not only are dandelions one of the most nutritionally dense greens you can eat, there is also an impressive history of use for supporting and improving health. Dandelions are chock-full of nutrients. As an herbal remedy, the much-maligned dandelion can address 90% of what ails us!
Here are some of my favorite dandelion-inspired recipes.
